There’s adult classes with the Ottawa School of Art and Dovercourt Recreation. I also have a couple short summer camps for kids with the City of Ottawa Recreation department! Drawing for the Absolute and Terrified Beginner – VIRTUAL – ADULT

This course offers a comfortable and encouraging introduction to the elements of traditional drawing. We will practice your observational skills while studying shade, mass, values, line, still life, the figure, portraits, landscape, and more! Learn simple tips and tricks that make a difference in how you see and draw, creating a solid foundation for future artwork. Charcoal Drawing Workshop – VIRTUAL – ADULT

This class covers the fundamentals of charcoal drawing, perfect for both beginners and those looking to refine their skills. We’ll explore mark-making, light and shadow, and how to build depth through layering and erasing. Sunset Summer Beach Acrylic Paint Workshop-ages 14 to adults! 

Join in for a relaxing and fun paint night where you’ll create a vibrant sunset summer beach scene using acrylic paint! This one-day workshop is perfect for all skill levels—whether you’re a total beginner or an experienced artist looking to unwind. Our instructor will guide you step-by-step, from the comfort of your home. Lesson recording is available to view for 7 days after the lesson for those who miss or wish to review a lesson. Offered online via Zoom with Dovercourt Recreation. 
Materials needed by participants: Pencil, Stretched Canvas or Canvas Board (approximately 8×10″), Acrylic paints (Red, Yellow, Blue, White and Black), Acrylic paint brushes (suggested: approximately size 18 flat and size 4 round brush), container of water, paper towels or rags, mixing palette, scrap paper. Optional: hair dryer.
