I teach full day art camps! (In the summer time anyways). I am always inspired by the children I teach who are able to work on art projects from 9am to 4pm (with breaks and lunch!) and still maintain a sense of wonder with each new project introduced to them. This week was mixed media landscapes. I had little art making machines! Here’s some pictures of some of their work, most are from our little vernissage/opening we had for their parents on Friday (it was total CUTENESS!).
Talented bunch : )
[Side Note: one more sleep until my very own art opening!]
I would LOVE to have gone to an art camp. Too bad they don’t take 40-year olds. Your kids made some great work.
They were definitely all very talented artists!
One of the art centers I work at is introducing art camps for adults this Summer. Maybe there are opportunities near you?
There are a bunch of classes around here that look really cool. The biggest obstacles are time and money. It almost makes me miss being a teacher and having summers off. I just couldn’t handle the other 10 months of the year. Teaching is definitely made for a certain kind of person. Keep up the great work!
