It took awhile to receive feedback on my designs (not nerve-racking at all!).  A number of suggestions were made. Including not painting on the wall all together but to paint on smaller panels instead…

Anyway, I whipped up a new mock-up of what the design could look like with the feedback I received:

Thankfully, after some convincing I was back to painting directly on the brick wall. The addition of fleur-de-lis and more multi-coloured hearts to the composition was to further represent Canada’s and the community’s multiculturalism and diversity.

Next is how to prepare to actually paint this project!
