With a new season, comes another round of fun and exciting drawing and painting classes! If you, your friends, family… or any groups you belong to might be interested in taking an art class with me, please share away! I have listed them below. I have two new classes: Coloured pencils and Painting in primaries (I’ve taught the latter before, but its had quite a facelift, so I consider it a new class overall! Perfect for those who want to know how to mix the colours they want!)

Exploring drawing and painting, adult – virtual
Each time this course runs, new themes and projects are introduced as we express our creativity in this introductory visual art class! Lessons explore different drawing and/or painting techniques by completing a finished artwork! All levels are welcome! Supplies: Pencil and paper for the first day and watercolors introduced afterwards. Can’t attend the live meeting? A recording of each class will be shared with everyone registered to watch for the first time or to re-watch. Offered live online via Zoom with Dovercourt Recreation.

Painting – Painting with Primaries – Virtual – Adult
Come learn about colour mixing and colour theory with this painting class where we only use three colours: red, blue and yellow. Have you always wanted to be able to sketch your surroundings or urban/rural landscapes with ease? This is a fun introduction to a variety of sketching and painting techniques. This course is for those who have taken a beginner drawing class, preferably the Drawing for the Absolute and Terrified Beginner, and wish to expand their drawing repertoire! Lessons are geared to build on and develop skills explored in previous drawing art study. We will cover still life, the figure, portraits, and more!
